Do you ever find yourself asking questions like these?

  • How can I plan lessons that feel more coherent?
  • How can I move beyond random topics and create a clearer path for my students?
  • How can I make sure my lessons are not just interesting but useful?
  • How can I use authentic materials without turning the lesson into random conversation?
  • How can I adapt a coursebook without losing direction?
  • How can I give better feedback without overwhelming my learners?
  • How can I help my students see that they are making progress?
  • How can I teach grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in a more integrated way?
  • How can I stop feeling scattered in my professional development?
  • How can I become less dependent on activities and more confident in my own judgment?

Over the years, many teachers have asked me whether I offered some kind of one-to-one support. Starting in August, I’ll be offering focused Guided Teacher Development sessions for English teachers who want a more personalized conversation about their teaching, development, language, exam preparation, materials, lessons or career decisions.

What is GTD?

Guided Teacher Development is a one-to-one session designed to help you think more clearly about a specific area of your teaching or professional development.This is not a fixed course, and it is not a generic mentorship package. Each session is focused on what you need at that moment.

You may want to discuss your lesson planning, your students’ needs, your course design, your feedback, your language development, your preparation for Cambridge exams, your materials, your professional direction, or a specific challenge you are facing in your teaching.

Before the session, you’ll fill in a short form so I can understand what you need. Then we’ll schedule a day and time that works for both of us.

Who is it for?

These sessions are for English teachers who want focused, individual guidance. They may be especially useful if you:

  • feel unsure about how to structure your lessons or courses;
  • want to understand your students’ needs more clearly;
  • need help planning your professional development;
  • need a more experienced perspective on your lessons, materials or teaching decisions;
  • feel that you have been developing in a scattered way and want more clarity.

How does it work?

1- Fill in the form (link below)
Tell me a little about your teaching context, your main question and what you would like to focus on.

2- We schedule the session
After I read your form, we’ll find a day and time that works for both of us.

3- We meet online
The session will focus on your specific needs. It may involve discussion, guidance, feedback, suggestions, planning or analysis, depending on what you bring to the session.

4- You decide whether you need more sessions
You can book one single session or continue with further sessions if you feel that more guidance would be useful.
