Delta-qualified English teacher | Teacher educator | Former speaking and Writing examiner | ELT author
Over the years, many teachers have asked me whether I offered some kind of one-to-one support. Starting in August, I’ll be offering focused Guided Teacher Development sessions for English teachers who want a more personalized conversation about their teaching, development, language, exam preparation, materials, lessons or career decisions.
Guided Teacher Development is a one-to-one session designed to help you think more clearly about a specific area of your teaching or professional development. This is not a fixed course, and it is not a generic mentorship package. Each session is focused on what you need at that moment.
You may want to discuss your lesson planning, your students’ needs, your course design, your feedback, your language development, your preparation for Cambridge exams, your materials, your professional direction, or a specific challenge you are facing in your teaching.
Before the session, you’ll fill in a short form so I can understand what you need. Then we’ll schedule a day and time that works for both of us.
These sessions are for English teachers who want focused, individual guidance. They may be especially useful if you:
1- Fill in the form (link below)
Tell me a little about your teaching context, your main question and what you would like to focus on.
2- We schedule the session
After I read your form, we’ll find a day and time that works for both of us.
3- We meet online
The session will focus on your specific needs. It may involve discussion, guidance, feedback, suggestions, planning or analysis, depending on what you bring to the session.
4- You decide whether you need more sessions
You can book one single session or continue with further sessions if you feel that more guidance would be useful.
