How Languages Are Learned

Course Overview:

In this course, we will explore the essential principles of language acquisition through the acclaimed text How Languages Are Learned by Patsy M. Lightbown and Nina Spada. Widely recognized as a key resource for educators, this book bridges theory and practice by connecting language acquisition research to real classroom applications.

With updated content, engaging activities, and critical reflection questions, it offers fresh insights into first and second language learning while debunking misconceptions and empowering teachers to refine their practice.
