This course is for English teachers who want to:
– refine their writing skills in order to express their views effectively;
– fully understand how the C2 Proficiency Writing Paper works and how to succeed in it;
– have the opportunity to write and receive detailed feedback on 5 different genres: essays, articles, reviews, reports, and emails/letters.
This is an 11-hour course.
From January, 2025 to April, 2025 (11 sessions – 1 hour per week)

Groups must have a minimum number of 6 participants and a maximum of 12;
A Gmail account is required to have access to Google Classroom;
A computer connected to the internet (I recommend at least 10 Mbps) equipped with a camera and a microphone;
Lessons will be recorded and available for a week. After 7 days the recordings are automatically deleted;
Starting from Lesson 7, students will be expected to submit a writing assignment on a weekly basis. These assignments are due each Wednesday. Please note that feedback will not be available for assignments submitted past the due date.

With over two decades of experience in the ELT field, Sergio Pantoja has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer, speaking and writing examiner. He holds, among others, a degree in Languages, a postgraduate degree in English Language Teaching and Translation, a TESOL Certificate from the University of Oregon, USA, the C2 Proficiency certificate (CPE), and the Delta. His Delta Module 3 Specialism focused on LDT (Language Development for Teachers). Sérgio is the author of three books:
